When it came time to illustrate a book about Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan, we turned to South African artist, Tamsin Hinrichsen. Using reference photos from the village of Chimadzi in Mozambique, Tamsin worked with Little Zebra Books’ David Ker to create a book developed especially for children in Africa. The high drama of a nighttime mugging, and two children who appear throughout the story all come together to create a book that kids want to read again and again. Little Zebra Books exists to help children in Africa grown in their love for reading and their love for the Lord. We believe children in Africa deserve the most beautiful books in the world.
