Last year, we started a new project to provide our beautiful books for Xhosa-speaking children in South Africa. Xhosa is famous for being a “click language”. Even the name Xhosa starts with a click! Now, half way through 2024, the Masifunde Sidlala project continues to thrive and expand thanks to this fun bunch. Every month they meet to share about their experiences bringing beautiful books to the children in their communities. The meetings are filled with laughter and passion as well! These incredible people believe that reading should be fun! And thanks to them more than 2,500 children every month are discovering the joy of reading.
